MUSICAL

Start writing a musical score at 8AM, when I wake with the phrase in my head:

I have so much to live for
It's going---YES---so well.

Yet---DAMN!---I have the feeling
I'm going STRAIGHT to hell!

It's been like this forever---
At least since yesterday.

I've got to find an answer;
I've GOT to find a way.

To make my life more useful.
It shouldn't be so hard.
How can I make a difference.
It blah-blah blah-blah XXXard.

It cannot be so hopeful,
It cannot be so tough.
I must not be so thoughtless,
God---loving is so rough!

My God, I've had enough!!

A DAY AS A LIFE

1) False dawn
2) Rising and shining
3) Frugal breakfast
4) Morning routines
5) First job done today
6) Too-large lunch
7) Depressing afternoon
8) Afternoon nap
INTERMISSION
9) Regaining energy
10) Expanding awareness
11) Pain!
12) Healthy dinner
13) Wild party
14) Reluctant farewells
15) And so to sleep

Finale:
I've always fucked it up
vs.
I've got to bring him down.

AIDS song:
Why was I ever born for
anything like, happiness?
When all that was waiting for me
was pain, and death.

Complications:
Everything always starts out so simple
Then rapidly moves into convoluted complications.
